Day 12 Thursday 15th Feb

Up nice and early this morning. We are off for breaky round the corner with Jen and Steve, and then we have a midday flight back to Adelaide. I'm quite sad to go, to be honest. Melbourne is a great city, we've been here before, and Adelaide as a city to city comparison, just doesn't cut the mustard.

Sat in Melbourne Airport. We had breakfast down the road from Steve and Jens pad... its right next to the F1 circuit (albert park).. which most of the year is ... well... a park with a lake in the middle. We went for a drive round the track and we could see that they were putting up all the Race hoardings, Tyre walls and bridges in... all in time for the Grand Prix thats only 4 weeks away.

Steve dropped us off in town and we made our way to the airport. A quick check in and here we are at the gate... We only have two more days in OZ till we fly home... this is the crappy bit of the visit... where we have to think about checking out and long flights home. Ahh well... we are both due back to work on Monday... not looking forward to that at all....
However... our visit to see Steve has been very worthwhile... and its been good to catch up on how things are going in Melbourne.
